Earthrise
Inspiration
The sun rested just above the horizon, a brilliant ball of gold melting into a sky brushed with orange and amber. Its reflection spilled across the ocean like a path of fire, reaching farther and farther until it stretched onto the wet sand before you.
You stop and lift your phone to capture the moment. Then something catches your eye.
A wave glides onto the shore, spreading a thin sheet of water across the sand. As it retreats, the sunlight remains behind for a fleeting second, transforming the beach into a mirror. The wet sand reflects the sun's golden glow so perfectly that it seems as though there are two sunsets—one in the sky and one beneath your feet. The brilliant orange light dances across every ripple and contour, turning the shoreline into a river of liquid gold.

Reflection
As the water pulls away, thousands of tiny grains begin to sparkle. Each receding wave leaves a glittering trail, as if the ocean is scattering gold dust across the shoreline before gathering it back again.
The rhythm repeats itself—forward, back, forward, back.
The glowing reflection in the sand felt like an Earthrise in reverse—a second sun emerging beneath your feet.
