ALONG THE FOREST PATHS
I often jog through Fish Creek Park, finding my way deep into the forest trails. Surrounded by towering trees and running on soft dirt paths, I feel grounded, steady, and at ease. For years I have admired the majestic trees along the dirt trails behind the Ever Creek Bluffs. FISH CREEK - TREE STUMPS
This is undoubtedly the most infamous tree stump I have encountered. It prominently stands at the center of a bustling intersection, with many people passing by. It's a social stump, displaying the core of the tree for everyone to see. It bares itself to the world, telling its tale of peril. The tree is severely decapitated and damaged, but if you look down, you'll see that it is not defeated at all. It is a preserved artifact, with its roots as strong as ever. Artistic Stat

WINTER AT BEBO GROVE
This is one of my favourite winter scenes in Fish Creek Park, a short walk from the Bebo Grove parking lot toward the Marshal Springs entrance. Winter stills the creek, turning its shallow waters into etched patterns of ice. Leaning trees and fallen logs rise through the frozen surface like remnants of an ancient battle, while fresh snow traces their forms and draws the eye.
