Fees

Canada Revenue Agency considers fees paid to a private Speech-Language Pathologist to be a tax-deductible medical expense. Speech therapy services are also GST exempt.

 

In addition, most health benefit plans include coverage for Speech Therapy provided ONLY by a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist.  Always verify your Speech-Language Pathologist's ACSLPA license number at www.acslpa.ab.ca.

Fees for additional services (e.g., consultation, home programming, material development, letter writing, legal) may be charged.  As a valued client, additional fees will NEVER be charged prior to your consent.  There will be no surprises.
